What you will be doing...

Tooling Stock Controller, based at Leeds Bradford Airport.

The Tooling Stock Controller position is fundamental in ensuring the Tooling operation is supported effectively to achieve its mission statement of '
_Right Tool, Right Place, Right Time_'.
Reporting to the
Senior Tooling Supervisor, The Tooling Stock Controller is responsible for managing & maintaining stock levels across all tooling locations and for the hastening / control of all tools throughout the repair process.

What Do We Need You to Do?

Attend maintenance Pre input meetings, C Check meetings
Attend Work In Progress (W.I.P) meetings with repair vendors
Forecasting and progress chasing tooling repairs orders
Carry out Analysis of all aspects in tooling as necessary for phasing of shelf life, under/over utilisation of Tooling
Inventory control
Analysing the purchase of new tooling when an item(s) fails repair or require scrapping
Reviews of tooling on airbus world and my Boeing fleet, TEM / TCBs, OIT's, OEM requirements
Support loan tooling in and out of the business
Supporting the Tooling leadership team for Projects, analysis, management of change
You will be responsible for the progressing and tracking the distribution of tooling to and from our engineering outstations to meet the needs of the business and in line with stock level requirements, time expiry & calibration requirements
You will
assist in reducing the overall turnaround in the repair cycle
After a period of training the position will work a
4 days on, 4 days off, 12 hour shift pattern.
