We are now looking for an
Aftercare Manager to predominantly cover the central belt of Scotland, primarily focusing on our iconic projects in Edinburgh city centre.

The Role:


A member of the operational team, reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the investigation and resolution of defects across a number of our ongoing and legacy projects.

The role requires a high level of interfacing between internal departments and external agencies, such as Architects, Engineers, Construction Workers, Sub-contractors, Client agents, Clerk of Works and Site Staff.

You will be responsible for managing the project to get the defects rectified.

This role will involve travel around the Central Scotland Region.


Your profile
The role would suit someone with experience in a Main Contractor within any of the following disciplines: Construction Manager, Site Manager, Package Manager or QS or Commercial Manager, who has worked on schemes £10M+

  • Educated to HND or Degree Level, with a Technical/Engineering background
  • Good understanding of contract administration both with clients and supply chain
  • Ability to work on own, selfmotivated and able to prioritise tasks
  • Understanding of the old EDMS is desirable as a lot of work is investigating past records
  • A desire to be clientfacing with an ability to negotiate the best results
  • High attention to detail and great stakeholder engagement skills
  • Some management experience and the ability to identify defects and root causes
