An opportunity for an accounting professional, either AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part of fully qualified to join this mid tier accounting firm in Newcastle to take responsibility for the preparation of year end accounts for clients at all levels from large corporates to SME's.

With flexibility to work from the office and home you will play a supporting role to the audit team in the preparation of accounts, which is why we are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of Financial Reporting Standards and UK GAAP.

As Accounting & Business Senior you will manage your own portfolio of clients, working with a team of staff to ensure the highest possible standards of client service are provided.

You must bring to the role experience working in UK financial reporting with strong accounts production skills. Knowledge of working in an audit department would be helpful but not essential for this position.

Those wishing to transition from audit to a full accounts role will also be considered and the necessary training provided.

This may well suit those who have trained with a small firm and are looking to gain some experience of working with larger SME clients and challenge your knowledge.
