Seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Insurance Claims Advisor to join a busy team in the central Truro area.

You will be responsible for delivering consistently high levels of customer service to a range of member. You will handle enquiries and all aspects of a claim within agreed authority levels. You will have excellent administrative skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be expected to develop your own skills further and may be expected to study.

Your duties will include:

***- Providing quality service to all Members

Handling Member enquiries in an effective and efficient manner
Compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
Meeting Members' needs by settling claims fairly and in line with agreed procedures
Delivering performance in line with our behaviours.
Effectively handling and controlling all aspects of a claim within agreed authority levels

Necessary Skills and Experience:

Good written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Experience of delivering customer service in a fast paced environment
Ability to understand and interpret policy wording in order to deliver technically sound advice to our Members and third parties
Flexibility and resilience, managing fastchanging requirements
Administrative skills
Be a competent user of Microsoft Office, including Outlook
Keen eye for detail

This role is being offered on a full-time permanent basis of 35 hours per week.

A full induction and training will be provided.

Some homeworking may be possible after initial training is complete.
