Job description:


This is a multifaceted role where you will be responsible for managing the Agency's debt collection contract, ensuring key targets are delivered.

You will work in conjunction with the contractor to resolve any issues encountered, building positive working relationships, and gaining commercial exposure.


You will also provide support and specialist advice to operational areas and other DVLA business areas, including complaint handling, accuracy assessments and compiling responses to Freedom of Information requests (FOI), Subject Access Requests (SAR) and data erasure requests.


This is an important role within DVLA where you can take pride in delivering lost revenue for the Agency as well as setting key standards of delivery for your colleagues via Operating Instructions and guidelines.


Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting the achievement of targets by:
  • Monitoring contract performance and driving compliance within the contract
  • Primary contact/lead for daytoday interaction with contractual counterpart
  • Registered file management and compliance
  • Reviewing and advising on current procedures to drive continuous contractual improvement
  • Improving/maintaining contractual quality standards, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • Developing and implementing business change processes
  • Testing and daily maintenance of systems
  • Accuracy, Complaint, FOI, SAR and Erasure requests
  • Keeping up to date with changes by collaborating closely with other units, agencies and outside organisations.
  • Developing effective relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collating, monitoring, and interpreting statistical information, providing reports and recommendations where necessary

Additional information
This role will require you to work on-site at our DVLA Longview Road Morriston Swansea office.

Occasional travel across the UK may be required, for example to attend supplier meetings and carry out audits. This could occur approximately once a quarter.
