Assist with the delivery of day to day activities of their particular area(s) of the property, including responsibilities for all public rooms, including brassiere, function rooms, bars, terrace etc.

which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, fulfilling business aspirations to achieving and further developing the optimum position in its market.

Actively participate and contribute positively as a member of staff.

Ensure security of the property and any adjoining areas is maintained at all times.


  • Assist with operational activities of public rooms, including brassiere, function rooms, bars, terrace etc. to effectively and efficiently deliver the optimum product in line with business strategy, working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager and Assistant Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Improve and maintain food and beverage sales directly and indirectly to ensure revenue earning opportunities are fully developed, including corporate, conference and events and both residential and non-residential customers. Provide excellent knowledge and leadership by possession of excellent menu/product knowledge.
  • Ensure understanding and adherence to the local departmental budget to effectively and efficiently maximise food and beverage GP and minimise wastage and responsibility for effective and efficient cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Ensure that particular areas of departmental responsibility are kept clean and tidy and maintained to the standards required.
  • Assistance with the professional welcome, farewell, parking arrangements and cloakroom activities supported by a detailed knowledge of both current and forthcoming functions and/or business events.
  • Assist with First Aid activities as required.
  • Responsible for the optimum upkeep and overall excellent presentation of the front of house and adjoining areas.
  • Effective liaison with Conference and Function organisers and other colleagues as required.
  • Perform switchboard duties, taking and relaying a full message service as required.
  • As front line ambassadors for the business, ensure at all times the optimum presentation of the front of house and adjoining areas. Uniform clothing as provided will be worn to a high standard at all times when on duty.
  • Perform any other duties/projects at other locations as required by any member of the Management team.
