GPS Practitioner Months Fixed Term Contract
The GPS Practitioner role exists to lead and manage the implementation of the GSK Production System (GPS) across the Zinnat Supply Chain.
This is with the goal of delivering the site strategy and improving business performance for safety, quality, productivity, supply & cost.
The role is primarily focussed on ZSC Secondary (Barnard Castle) but will involve work across Zinnat Supply Chain and with above-site functions and LOCs where required.
Responsibilities:
- Follow site SOP's, adhere to GMP, act in a safe manner and maintain training compliance. Report and challenge where this is not observed.
- Assist the GPS Lead in development and day to day deployment of the site GPS roadmap.
- Collate and analyse site metrics to identify areas of improvement. Agree with line managers key priorities for improvements.
- Coach and mentor leaders across the site in the GPS to develop and sustain a continuous improvement mindset.
- Facilitate Accelerators, Problem Solving sessions, Continuous Improvement at the Gemba and Kaizen events.
- Conduct selfassessments of individual departments against the GPS Maturity Matrix, and assist departments in prioritising areas for improving their GPS maturity.
- Continuously develop personal skills in the GPS and Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques and share these with others.
- Actively role model GPS skills and behaviours, continuously focusing on the goal of Zero Accidents, Zero Defects and Zero Waste.
- Work with GPS Practitioner at Secondary to ensure consistency of approach.
- Assure effectiveness of Site GPS Council in governance of GPS deployment to track progress of the GPS deployment roadmap and selfassess the GPS maturity level.

Basic Qualifications**:

- Experienced in similar highpaced regulated industry, ideally, held a number of positions in a manufacturing environment, covering a broad range of activities and operations (e.g. Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, S&L, EHS etc.)
- Demonstrated delivery of improvement initiatives and/or cultural change yearonyear resulting in both financial and nonfinancial benefits.
- Good level of understanding of Lean Six-Sigma (Master Black Belt / Black Belt / Green belt accredited) or GPS methods.
- Leading CI certification will be advantageous.
- Change management concepts and practice.
- Training, mentoring and coaching skills. Project planning and execution.
- High personal accountability and ability to inspire trust and good influencing skills.
- Being results driven and solutions oriented.
