Leading a detailed planning team who deliver network power, space, and cooling solutions turning them into detailed specifications for enablement of network delivery and integration. Removes roadblocks for the team to help the team work efficiently and effectively. Manages customer and stakeholder expectations and relative business priorities across the entire team to ensure designs are delivered to meet business priority at optimum cost.
You will manage a team of 5 to 15 Accommodation Planners within the region.

  • This role is to support the effective delivery of all scale projects within BT Telephone Exchanges, Data Centres or Core Mobile Sites.
  • You will help develop the team, manage performance, best practices and ensure effective delivery for BT and our customers.
  • You will help lead innovation, project and subprogramme management for your area.

You'll have the following responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Accommodation Planners designing and delivering M&E delivery projects across the full BT portfolio
  • BT Telephone Exchanges, Data Centres and Core Mobile Sites
  • Lead sub programmes within the unit
- programme management, finance tracking, performance and delivery reporting.

  • Utilise M&E expertise to support the delivery team
  • Ability to challenge suppliers, team members and peers on site solutions where applicable
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of M&E projects within your team
  • Report performance from your team on Day 10, Day 20 and RFI successes.
  • Highlight any Best Practice or improvements to ensure continued improvement
  • Ensure all M&E projects are delivered with the best solution and cost for BT and our customers
  • Support the team with development and coaching
  • Ensure H&S compliance at all times
- complete all required H&S checks and assurance

  • Manage the demand and through put for the team and manage stakeholders accordingly
  • Ability to make business critical decisions that benefits BT
  • Support resource and workflow throughout the year
  • Track and report Operational costs

  • To have regard for health and safety, his/her job license and skills as agreed with line manager.
Delivers work with full regard of H&S aspects. Carries out on-site risk assessments giving careful consideration to any
hazards before starting work and as the work progresses. Inform manager and record near misses/incidents. Is
comfortable challenging and asking others to display their ID passes when on BT premises. Complies with all ISO Audit
Requirements, including 14001 and 4500- You'll have the following skills and experience

  • Indepth knowledge and experience of core network power, space, and cooling solutions

Experience

  • Business expertise in delivering to a business prioritised workstack.
Working with stakeholders managing conflicts in delivering enablement solutions in a timely manner at optimum cost. Working with internal and external partners to deliver to quality and time requirements.
