Accounts Assistant (Salary - starting £21,000 per annum)

Full Time (8.30am - 4.30pm / 9am - 5pm)

Office Based (Bournemouth, with Public Transport Links oppostite)

Duties:


  • Posting / Entering sales invoices daily to Xero and coding as per invoice
  • Sending out monthly statements to clients.
  • Posting / Entering Purchase invoices timely to Xero under guidance
  • Ensuring correct due date is entered.
  • Checking POs on Job Logic for Purchase invoices.
  • Contacting relevant staff member if there is a discrepancy, Entering and removing relevant questions marks / Flags. Entering notes on Xero at each point so there is a consistent audit trail.
  • Chasing relevant staff member up if no response.
  • Saving all Purchase / Supplier invoices to SPS server.
  • Adding new Suppliers to Xero with all contact information.
  • Ensuring Purchase/ Supplier Statements match Xero Ledger and if not finding the discrepancy.
  • Sending Office Manager and Accounts Controller Purchase / Supplier statements as requested.
  • Sending details of the above to Office Manager for Payroll purposes.
