Little Sunflowers Child Care is a family owned, and family run child day nursery and a 26 child breakfast and afterschool club, based in Elmers End (Beckenham/Bromley).
We have been open for 25+ years and we offer a fun, relaxed environment wherechildren learn and thrive through play.
We are currently looking to hire a Chef/Cook who will be solely responsible for all cooking and menu planning.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to run their own kitchen without the long hours.
- Creating and implenting a 4 week summer and winter menu to ensure children are provided with good home cooked meals.
- Clean and tidy dining room after dinner and tea
- Cook lunch and pudding for 25 children
- Cook tea for 50 children
- Flexibility is given to ensure that the four week menu to ensure children can access different cultures.
- Comply with all health and safety guidelines,
- Create weekly shopping lists ready for the following week
- Look after larder and all ingredients
- Have a good knowledge of intolerances and able to implement them to ensure all children are catered for.
- Role is from 10:00am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, felxibility with these hours can be discussed.
A Full enhanced DBS will be completed on completion of a successful interview.
Salary:
£10.00 to £11.00 per hour
