M&E Surveyor

Do you have relevant Commercial Surveying / QS experience?

Have you worked in a M&E Industry seeking a new role?

A position has become available for one of our clients. Due to their growth this year they are looking to hire a
Surveyor with an
M&E background.
They specialise in delivering services in Social Housing, Facilities Management, and Commercial Industries across the UK and Ireland.


Day to Day:


  • Operational and commercial management of projects.
  • Setting budgets and agreeing specifications for works.
  • Provide contractual and cost advice to operational management and staff.
  • Procurement and cost management of Subcontractor packages.
  • Ensure detailed records of works are recorded and maintained.
  • Quality audit of works from site records to ensure works have been completed to specifications.
  • Perform take offs from drawings and specifications.
  • Perform tender analysis and preparation of associated paperwork.

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Degree educated in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / QS.
  • Or 1 years Commercial Surveying / QS experience, gained within a M&E.
  • Estimating, Budget Control, Cost Management skills.
  • Excellent numeracy skills, commercial awareness, and customer service.
  • Ability to resolve problems and make accurate business decisions.
  • MS Office including Excel, proficient on Revit or AutoCAD.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
