About The Role:

The purpose of the role of a Billing Team Leader is to manage and support our billing team.

You'll be a professional, well-informed individual, who has a consistent approach to both internal and external contacts, allowing you to mentor and supervise the wider team.

Key accountabilities

Management of Unbilled WIP, including regular reviews with Head of Department (HoD) and Commercial/Operations Directors
Oversee New Customer Onboarding
Review and Completion of New Work Orders
Review of BU's Credit Note Transactions
Assist HoD with Monitoring Team KPI's and Metrics
Assist HoD with Preparing and Reviewing Documentation for Internal/External Audits
Assist HoD with maintenance of Department's Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines
Provide Training for New Starters into the BU
Monitoring and Supervision of Timely Close to BU's Daily/Monthly Workflow

Skills & Experience required

35 years of billing experience in a large, fast paced, organisation
Advanced Excel skills
Proven ability to multitask, prioritise workload and consistently meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, and show confident ability to communicate with all levels of personnel, internally and externally.
