Have you ever considered a role as a Youth Mentor in a special school, working with children who require additional support to achieve their life goals and thrive in their education journey?

This position would allow you to build up your experiences whilst working towards a highly rewarding and interesting career in special education.

The Role & Benefits:

Youth Support Mentor

- £85-£95 per day

Longterm role with strong potential for the role to become permanent after a qualifying period
Work 1:1 with pupils that require additional support with their learning
Offer feedback regarding pupil progress with the class teacher and other members of staff to track performance
General classroom duties
Full interview preparation and continued support throughout the placement
Immediate start date available

Person Specification

An individual who has a genuine passion for exploring SEN education as a career
Confident and proactive personality
A desire to work towards gaining qualifications in SEN (you will be supported to achieve your qualifications if you wish to take this route)
Interested in pursuing a career in a teaching support role or teaching
