Salary £45,000-£60,000 dependent on experience

Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of end to end management accounts, including posting of accruals and prepayments, tax, fixed assets, leases, payroll etc
  • Preparing and maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Liaising and challenging customers to agree rebates and price supports
  • Variance analysis of the P&L and margin analysis of sales
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Preparation and filing of VAT returns
  • Treasury management authorising high value payments to overseas suppliers
  • Preparation of year end statutory accounts
  • Payroll run calculating staff payroll, issuing payslips and answering payroll queries
  • Sales reporting
  • Intercompany reconciliations between parent and subsidiaries across multiple currencies
  • Reconciliation of all balance sheet control accounts; PAYE, VAT, wages, stock etc
  • Reviewing aged Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Credit card reconciliations for multiple departments
  • Group accounts for several companies outside the Group

Requirements:


  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • QBE may potentially be considered
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong work ethic & confident communicator

Desirables:

  • Practice/Audit background
  • Microsoft Navision experience
