We are a small, established and successful residential care home based in an attractive leafy suburb of Manchester, who has an excellent reputation in the local community.

We are looking for an experienced care home night assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience.

You must have NVQ level 2 and be flexible to cover early, late and weekend shifts as required.

The Role:

• Delivering care plans, providing accurate and legible documentation and prioritizing tasks as appropriate.
• Identifying and ensuring health & safety standards are met.
• Delivering a quality service in line with CQC essential standards, improving the quality of resident's lives.
• Knowledge of health & safety in the workplace, along with an understanding of the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
• Commitment to providing high quality care.
• Flexible, reliable and able to adapt and work under pressure.
• Able to create an environment where residents feel able to participate and contribute ideas and plan around their needs.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Communicate professionally and warmly with all visitors to the home including family and friends.
• Attend training as required.
• Current DBS would be advantageous.
