In this role you will be the point of contact for all Malvern Panalytical employees global for support related questions (e.g. travel, visitors, organisation of large meetings, MSOffice (user questions), etc.

Handling all incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate employees within the Global Malvern Panalytical company. Greeting visitors and issuing visitor passes. General administration duties.


What are your responsibilities?- Handling all incoming calls- Meet and greet visitors, issue passes, wifi access- Be the centre of Excellence for travel and office/support related questions- Coordinate meetings/events (virtual / internal / external) including booking of meeting rooms, lunches, equipment, hotel, transportation, etc.- Coordinate travel / advise transportation, hotels, etc.

Standardize documents and improve processes- Helpdesk O365 for basic user issues, stay on top of new features and share knowledge with our colleagues- Responsible for general office duties- Adhoc assistance for staff and visitors when requested- Collate the post ready for postal service (local)


This list is not exhaustive, and from time to time the Service Points admin may be asked to carry out other admin tasks so the overall operation functions efficiently.

What do you need to be successful in this role?- A customer-oriented 'hospitality' attitude, hands-on, self-starter, team player- GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths- Pitman or equivalent certification / MBO (post-secondary vocational education) working and thinking capability- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written in English (and preferably in one other language)- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills- Teamwork skills- Result driven, strong organisation and administrative abilities- Integrity- Attention to detail and accuracy- Multitasking capabilities- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work tasks appropriately- IT skills and experience using O365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Teams,

Great to have?- Experience using Jira or any other relevant ticketing system
