An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the East Kent Trust maternity team to support midwifery teams in their provision of woman centred, midwife led care in Margate.


This is an excellent opportunity for professional and personal development for those who want the experience of working in a flexible service.

It is essential that applicants have the basic level of competency identified in the personal specification.


The successful applicant will be a crucial member of the maternity team providing clinical support to women and babies as well as clerical, administrative, general housekeeping and other supportive roles within the midwifery service.


To work as part of the hospital based maternity team providing assistance with the provision of care to mothers, babies and their families in a caring and sensitive manner.

To actively support mothers with the initiation and continuation of breast feeding.


The Trust covers a population area of 760,000 and we need people like 'You' with fresh ideas and a great attitude to come and join us on our journey.
