Key Responsibilities:

The role of Specialist Support Worker
Substance Misuse forms part of a wider system response within Plymouth Alliance to working with vulnerable people with substance use life challenges.
You will support the development of and deliver a specialist programme of harm reduction and psychosocial intervention for clients with substance use challenges.
You will be the initial point of contact to enable clients to access appropriate substance use services, including referral to specialist support services.
Ability to work in a busy environment, be solution focused, show good time management skills and can demonstrate ability to prioritise and make decisions under pressure.
Motivation towards supporting vulnerable clients to achieve focussed and positive life outcomes.
Able to work within the Christian ethos of The Salvation Army.
