Purchasing Administrator - Greater Manchester, United Kingdom - Chase Taylor
Description
The role:
- Collaborate with a team of three, reporting to the Purchasing Manager and Purchasing Team Leader.
- Manage the procurement of glass, composite doors, and door panels.
- Verify and organise order confirmations according to job delivery schedules.
- Record deliveries based on delivery notes.
- Ensure timely delivery of ordered items, promptly addressing any potential delays.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
- Handle nonconformance complaints, ensuring efficient collection and credit for faulty or defective items.
- Independently work on assigned projects or collaborate with team members.
- Fulfill any other reasonable duties assigned by the company.
- Have current or recent experience within a similar role within the window and door/ home improvement industry
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be flexible and selfmotivated
- Be able to manage own workload
- Work independently and in a team
- Excellent attention to detail
