Job overview:


They would carry a small caseload of their own PCE-CfD clients to continue to keep their practice up to date.

Being qualified in another modality such as Interpersonal Psychotherapy or Couples Therapy for Depression also would be highly desirable for this post and supervision training would also be available in this area as and when appropriate.


Main duties of the job:


The post holder will be an experienced counsellor and supervisor holding a recognised qualification, accredited with BACP/UKCP/NCS and potentially IPTUK.


This is a faced-paced role, carrying responsibility at Senior level for the implementation of supervision in the service to support the Counselling and Psychotherapy Lead.

The post holder will work in the Talking Therapies service to assess, formulate and implement psychological interventions under the guidance of supervision and within the parameters of a Talking Therapies service.

You will need to be able to work on initiative, be well organised and flexible to providing adequate support for clinical work.

The post holder will be responsible for offering independent clinical supervision both one to one and in groups. You will also take part in designing and delivering CPD events and other relevant tasks. You will be working with individuals experiencing low mood/depression.

All Talking Therapies counsellors/psychological therapists are required to deliver high quality services through the use of routine outcome measures, evidence-based treatment, electronic record and data management systems, participation in clinical and management supervision.
