To support our growth, we are excited to be recruiting 2 x Merchandise Admin Assistants to work from our Head Office in Leeds.


Key responsibilities include:


Stock:

  • Manage and ensure all purchase orders are received and processed by the suppliers.
  • Support the merchandising team in managing the critical path to ensure shipments are on time.
  • Work closely with our freight partner and warehouse to ensure all stock arrives on time and in accordance to the purchase order.
  • Update and manage department intake, ensuring shipments are booked and stock arrives as planned, highlight any risks to the Merchandiser.
  • Monitor and maintain customer delivery dates where back orders occur, communicate any delays in order to reduce cancellations/customer contact.

Sales:

  • Support the merchandising team in maintaining accurate reporting.
  • Take ownership in key trade documents and setting these up at the start of every season.
  • Prepare weekly trade reporting and any ad hoc analysis, supporting the Merchandiser where necessary.
  • Proactively monitor the wider homeware market and key competitors
- report back on promotions, price drops in trade.

  • Collate pricing amends and work with the ecommerce team to action changes.
  • Assist the wider team with adhoc administration tasks.

What will I need to be considered for this vacancy?

  • Analytical and passionate about numbers, able to use data to measure performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Systems driven, proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Retail focused with strong understanding of Merchandising.
  • An excellent communicator who is able to build relationships with stakeholders and work across various teams.
  • Shows initiative and responsibility, taking ownership of your work and using your initiative to deliver.
  • Strong teamwork skills, being able to work with the Merchandising team and other teams to reach a common goal, sharing information and supporting colleagues.
  • Positive and flexible, responsive to business needs and comfortable taking responsibility for your tasks.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
