Job Objectives & Responsibilities- Working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
- Act as a representative of the company carrying out work as detailed by the National Risk Assessment Manager/Supervisor.

- Complete reports and paperwork as instructed by the National Risk Assessment Manager/Supervisor.
- Take responsibility for your own training needs and bring them to the attention of the National Risk Assessment Manager/Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, specific company requirements approved by the Health & Safety Executive and the latest regulations and codes of good practice.
- To undertake legionella risk assessments to a high standard in line with the latest version of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP)
Safe Water in Healthcare Premises as necessary
- Carrying out legionella risk assessments manually and electronically
- Producing schematic diagrams using Microsoft Visio
- Provide technical support where required.
- Ensure that Legionella Risk Assessments paperwork and reports are completed correctly and returned within agreed timescales.
- Where required, attend risk assessment review meetings with Clients.
- Person Specification
- Experience in Legionella risk assessing.
- City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment Qualification (or equivalent) would be beneficial
- Wide Knowledge of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition) and its associated technical guidance documents of HSG27
- Wide knowledge of the British standard code of practice for risk assessing, BS
- Knowledge of the Health Technical Memorandum 0401: Safe Water in Healthcare Premises (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of cooling towers, process systems and other systems (desirable but not essential)
- Suitable and sufficient experience working within the water treatment industry.

- Computer/PDA skills, in particular with word and excel.
- Drawing of schematic diagrams

- Be willing to travel outside of own region as necessary for business needs.
- Be willing to perform overnight stays away from home as necessary to business needs.
- Have excellent attention to detail skills
- Possess a "Right First Time Attitude"
- Held a Full driving licence for a minimum of 12 months, with no driving bans in the past 5 years and no more than 6 points current or pending.
