IT Infrastructure Support Analyst
**Full Time & Permanent
Office Based**
Melksham

Up to £35,000 + Excellent Benefits:

- _Do you have good experience with Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems?

  • Our client is a leading business and they are now looking to recruit an experienced IT Support Analyst to help with the administration of more than 600 PCs, servers, network switches, printers, other computer peripherals and telephones across various siteswithin the UK.


  • Duties will include;

  • Maintain records of user problems (using a problemticketing system) and ensure problems are always resolved.
  • Design, maintain and develop the network infrastructure and systems within the organisation and across the larger district.
  • Maintain the server infrastructure including Physical and Virtual servers.
  • Maintain the onsite backup solutions.
  • Order and maintain stock levels, ensuring asset inventory is maintained and accurate.
  • Learn new technologies and skills as appropriate.
  • Cover for other team members when appropriate.
  • Certifications in industry standard qualifications (CompTia, A+, ITIL, CCNA, MCSA, etc)
  • Contribute to the team or equally work on one's own.
  • Client facing skills, including helpfulness and understanding.
  • Good investigation skills.
  • Knowledge of Servers systems, Virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Storage systems including NetApp & Nimble, Cisco wired and wireless networking technologies.
  • Knowledge of Veeam backups and Microsoft AV/Firewall solutions.
