Job Purpose

RJR Group are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to support the delivery of projects in the civil engineering and building operation.

The post will include safe working within the groundworks team to undertake general groundworks included but not limited to:

• Excavation by working with machine operators or with hand tools
• Concreting
• Drain laying
• Stoning up
• Stripping out works
• Demolition
• Steel fixing
• Steel erecting
• Erecting formwork
• Operating plant from time to time
• Using plant and small tools
• Other associated activities according to management instructions.

This role holder will be:

• An adaptable ground worker, a true team player.
• Able to read and interpret drawings
• Able to set out lines and levels form stations set by an engineer.
• A CSCS card holder
• Streetworks qualified (ideally).
• Be able and willing to work away from home during the week (if needed)
• Able to obtain an advanced DBS clearance.
• Responsible for vehicle checks as prescribed
• Competent Cat and Genny operator (trained).
• Qualified and competent in construction plant operation (dumpers, minor excavation works etc).

Pay:
£13.00-£16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

• Groundworks: 10 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
