What is the role

We're looking for a Delivery & Imports Assistant to work in the Delivery Booking & Imports team at Yours Clothing, focusing on our inbound deliveries.

Working as part of the team, you'll manage deliveries into our UK warehouses, across all modes from our global suppliers, working closely with multiple suppliers, forwarders, and the Buying and Merchandising teams across all of our brands in our Head Office.

With your keen eye for attention and excellent problem solving skills, you will oversee daily bookings with our UK suppliers and Freight Forwarders, making sure that our stock is shipped, booked, and delivered on time.

What you will do

You will be responsible for scheduling all stock deliveries into our warehouse, ensuring product is on time whilst intake volume is managed
Monitor personal and shared inboxes
Document management and noncompliance monitoring
Liaising with internal and external Buying & Merchandising teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
Responding to and resolving queries from the internal and external warehousing teams
Able to identify potential issues and taking the necessary action to prevent them
General administration tasks

What you will bring

IT literate
Competent user of Microsoft Office package (especially Excel) and the ability to handle electronic data
The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterally
Builds effective and open relationships with all members of the Buying & Merchandising team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an understanding of the importance of attention to detail
Excellent time management, able to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines
Confident, enthusiastic, and able to quickly adapt to fast changing circumstances
Willing to support wider team as needed
A flexible handson approach to work and willing to complete a variety of tasks
Ability to work well as a team as well as on own initiative
An ability to deal professionally, calmly, and tactfully
Experience of logistics (advantageous)
Thrive in a fastpaced and everchanging environment, proactively seeking to understand the wider business environment in which our business operates
