Support Assistant

School in Crawley which is a dynamic educational community dedicated to nurturing young minds. The School blends traditional values with modern teaching methods to create an engaging learning environment. They are a small independent school for pupils with autism, aged 4-19.


Hours:
Monday - Friday, 9:30 - 14:00 or 10:00 - 14:30


Pay:
£11.55 per hour


Position Overview:

The school seeks a passionate Support Assistant to support classroom instruction and provide personalised guidance to students.


Responsibilities:

To supervise indoor/outdoor playtime, snack and lunchtime
-
To support students with personal care when required
-
To participate and help children in extracurricular activities
-
To support the pupils in the classroom when necessary

Requirements:


  • Kind and caring personality
  • A great attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
  • Previous experience in an educational setting preferred
  • Previous personal or professional experience with Autism preferred
