About the Team

The Talent Policy & Process team is responsible for the global alignment of recruitment policy priorities, program design and HR management consensus.

We build a global talent policy framework, and develop global talent acquisition strategies, policies and process frameworks across regions and across all businesses.

About the Role


Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to the development of the global talent strategy on key topics such as:
  • Talent Acquisition success measurement;
  • Global Talent Market Analysis and contribution to Global Talent Allocation Strategy;
  • Internal Mobility Strategy;
  • D&I Recruitment Strategy;
  • Any other strategic project initiated by the top management of the ByteDance group or requested by the teams.
  • Be directly responsible for specific Global Key Talent Projects, aligning senior stakeholders on a global scale, building project plans, driving change while achieving consensus within senior leaders;
  • Work on talent policy & processes design to reflect the company's management philosophy and talent acquisition strategy;
  • Establish standardized project approaches to ensure cohesion of efforts across TA teams;
  • Partner with Senior Leaders to identify process improvement opportunities; align approaches to policy, process leads, and TA Training Leads;
  • Provide documentation of historical discussions, considerations, and decisions to minimize duplication and/or future rework of items;
  • Recommend metrics and improvements to achieve and deliver enhanced results;
  • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires indepth knowledge. Ensure related budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements;
  • Cooperate with the Talent Acquisition Operations regional teams to localize global policies within the region, encourage best practice behaviours and assure compliance with local rules and legislation;
  • Assure HR policy/practice interpretation and guidance in action is consistent and mitigates risk to the organization in collaboration with HR Operations, Legal and Compliance teams;
Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent crossteam collaboration and stakeholder management within large scale HR projects and understanding of operations in a matrixed environment;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, navigate ambiguities autonomously, and help develop innovative approaches to partnership, project work, and systems utilization;
  • Strong program management skills and operational rigour, with the ability to translate vision into action;
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational processes and capabilities to support successful scaling in a highgrowth global organization;
  • Strong business acumen and experience in communicating complex concepts, anticipating potential objections and influencing others to adopt a different point of view.
Preferred Qualifications

  • One or several of the experiences below would be assets to the team:
  • Experience and expertise across Talent Acquisition functions, including the ability to recognize and support agile/organizational effectiveness and policy/process expertise and improvement;
  • Experience in Organization Development, Talent Development, or HR consulting;
  • Direct experience in recruiting, including experience leading a recruiting team or globalizational team. Experience working directly with recruiting teams;
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and develop efficient workflows;
  • Proven experience with Internal Mobility Strategy, D&I Recruitment Strategy OR Global Talent Allocation Strategy.
