The primary purpose in your new role as Halcyan's Customer and Sales Consultant is to:
- Provide outstanding customer service to potential domestic customers.
- Secure sales targets and contribute to profitability and business growth.
- Contribute to domestic customer marketing initiatives.
This is a part-time role where your day could look something like this:
- Check your diary and follow up with any outstanding customers as planned.
- Review overnight prospective enquiries and follow up by phone.
- Update the CRM with today's activities.
- Learn a bit more about the product and new industry standards.
- Have a cuppa with one of your colleagues.
- Finish up with planning tomorrow's prospect followup schedule.
- Obviously each day will be different, so this is just to give you a flavour of what your new job can look and feel like._
Job requirements:
You'll have the following core skills, behaviours and attitudes to thrive in this new Customer and Sales Consultant role:
- Previous experience in a phone-based customer and sales role.
- Genuine 'green' environmental interest in doing your part to save the planet
- Confident explaining basic chemistry and physics principles _(we know how to teach this, so we don't expect you to have this background, just an interest in learning)_
- Comfortable talking about money and negotiating where appropriate.
- An honest and straightforward presentation of the product, not prone to exaggeration
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent expression in English, written and spoken.
- Comfortable being on camera (direct video conversation, marketing materials)
- Happy working within and proactively contributing to a small team environment
This role isn't for you if:
- You only care about the sale, not the customer
- You want to sell purely on volume without caring about quality
- You struggle with a schedule that can change at short notice
- You prefer to work alone without a team there to back you up
Hours
:
Monday to Friday, 4-5 hours per day (mornings)
Based
:
This is a hybrid role - you'll be working from home with weekly (Tuesdays) team meetings in the Bristol office
Training
:
On-site training will take place in office for the first two-weeks
Salary
:
£25,000 - £
35,000 (full-time equivalent salary)
Prorated salary
:
£13,250 to £23,100 for part-time
