Description

We are seeking to recruit a Shift General Maintenance Engineer to be based on our customer site in Liverpool, St Johns Shopping Centre.

Shift pattern 4 on, 4 off Days Only Overtime available as and when required, Free Parking on Site, Plus on Call Rota

The role is to provide an exceptional high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service.

Responsibilities:

You will:

Ensure work is undertaken in line with specific method statements & risk assessments and relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey health and safety systems and procedures.
Develop excellent working relationships with our client their staff or appointed representative through good customer service.
To ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audit either by internal or external parties.
Work as part of a collaborative team and assist where necessary and required so that all contractual obligations are met.
Demonstrate appropriate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe delivery of all work.
Support other team engineers as a second engineer

Requirements:

You will be experienced in the following:

Basic building fabric skills including floor tiling, joinery, door repairs, fabric repairs and general building repairs
Painting tasks including patching.
Plant room cleaning
Escorting subcontractors
Basic Mech/Elec knowledge including Tap temps and L8 knowledge and experience
Basic plumbing knowledge is preferable
Basic H&S knowledge
The drive to learn new skills and adapt existing skills
Capable of working independently.
Excellent customer service skills very client facing
