Denholm is delighted to be working exclusively on a great opportunity with one of our global FMCG clients in Glasgow who are looking for a Senior Business Change Project Manager on day rate contract basis.

to deliver global payroll transformation programme.

This role requires someone with good change / transformation programme delivery experience and previous experience of managing supplier / integration partner.

This role would suit someone with exceptional stakeholder skills with strong focus on the gettingthe project delivered.

This is a backfill role and requires a Senior Project Manager who can pick up the project and continue to deliver the project through to completion.

This requires significant 3rd party management. Ideally I need someone who is available immediately to startin January or potentially 2 weeks' notice at most.

**Duration: 6 months (January start)

Location:
Glasgow / Hybrid (2-3 days per week in office)

Rate:
£550 - £650 p/day (Outside IR35**)


Responsibilities in this role:


  • Responsible for the daytoday management of the programme on behalf of the Project Control Board (PCB) within the constraints laid down by them
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships across all markets and all levels to ensure successful management of change
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Continual management of project team resources
  • Working closely with the Global/Regional/LOC teams to understand requirements Take ownership for the replanning of new activity required against timeline, providing expertise and best practice approach to this
  • Proactive management of RAID log affecting achievement of overall objectives. Take decisions required and escalate to PCB in a timely and clear manner
  • Clear assessment and articulation of overall status
  • Working with strategic partners and third parties to deliver all relevant aspects required
  • Practical experience of managing large, complex projects/programmes with a global scope
  • A proven track record of working together with external delivery partners in a strategic relationship across distributed sites
  • Excellent project management and change management skills
  • Ability to communicate complex problems in a nontechnical and simplified manner at all levels
  • Ability to develop positive and productive relationships at pace, both internally and with third parties
  • Strong problem solving and organisation skills
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation and people management skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to cope with competing demands and a proven track record of meeting deadlines and prioritising workload effectively
  • Education to Degree level of equivalent is desirable; professional project management qualifications would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of or experience in HR and/or Payroll process and/or projects would be advantageous
