About the role
We've a great new opportunity to become our Water Network Technical Coordinator (Pipeline Management), which is a critical role in the delivery of the Appearance ODI.
You'll be responsible for the successful coordination by working with internal and external stakeholders on the many aspects associated with delivery of the Pipeline Management Program.
This will include planning new conditioning exercises and maintaining existing conditioning exercises working with internal colleagues working on the program.
You will be expected to work closely with the Regional Control Centre team to help produce Network Management Plans and monitor the conditioning exercises through the SCADA system.
We're looking for you to be working with External partners including consultants and contractors to deliver the capital program for the rest of the regulatory period and beyond., along with working on the tactical planning to develop the capital program for the coming years.
You'll be required to provide technical input, as you will manage the stock of potable water quality instruments including deployment and collection and running the annual maintenance program with the supplier.
You'll also chair and manage delivery of actions from area-based meetings and the monthly steering group, as well as reporting on progress and identifying possible delays.
About you
You'll have proven track record of working with and leading others using strong interpersonal skills to deliver the complex program across the operational areas supported by the Regional Control Centre of water, wastewater, and customer.
You'll have a high level of technical and analytical aptitude and can pragmatic and innovative in your problem-solving ability to encourage a continuous improvement culture.
You'll ideally be qualified to degree level in a technical discipline or have the equivalent operational experience at a supervisory level.
Although not essential, it would be beneficial if you had an understanding of water networks or had worked in a similar technical area.
