The role

  • Full time role
  • Working as a Learning Mentor and predominantly supporting children who have been removed from lessons due to disruptive behaviour
  • Managing any challenging behaviour and supporting children with the aim of them reentering mainstream lessons
  • Providing curriculum support to children that are struggling academically
You

  • Will have a minimum of 3 months experience in a school
  • Will hold a CACHE Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or higher/equivalent (not essential)
  • Will have previously supported children who display challenging behaviour in a mainstream or special needs setting including PRU's or an alternative provision
  • Will have a resilient character
  • Will be able to build rapport easily
  • Will be caring and compassionate

Salary:
£80.00-£130.00 per day
