Maintenance Assistant West London £27,500 p.a. + overtime available

_Maintenance Assistant needed for successful technology focused, London based business_

The Role

As Maintenance Assistant you will play a key role within the building's operation, working alongside the Maintenance Supervisor at each location.

You will ensure visual standards in buildings are maintained to an excellent standard and be responsible forcarrying out specific maintenance tasks assigned to you.

This will include:
- preparing and painting walls
- minor electrical works, low voltage, changing light bulbs etc
- moving furniture
- fixing door handles, hinges, etc / hanging whiteboards, TVs, clocks
- minor plumbing work
- laying carpet tiles and moving floor boxes

The Person
As Maintenance Assistant you will already have experience in a similar role, with an understanding of basic maintenance and ideally a good all-round knowledge of building maintenance With basic carpentry, plumbing, decorating, building and minor electricalskills all advantageous you will also need:

strong communication skills

- good self motivation / ability to solve problems / multitask
- ability to work as part of a team

Full time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) covering several business centres in West London.
