The Medicina Group is a leading distributor of medical devices, supplying enteral feeding systems and other medical devices in the United Kingdom and internationally.
The Quality Assurance function is responsible for ensuring that the company operates in accordance with all applicable legislation and maintains its ISO-13485 certification status.
Reporting to the Quality Systems Manager, responsible for ensuring the quality management systems documents are up to date, completing document change controls, scheduling and assisting with internal audits for the business as well as monitoring the progress of QA/RA activities to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
As a key member of the QA team the role supports activities to help maintain our ISO 13485 QMS and audit ready status, and therefore this is an important position.
The Quality Administrator job details:
- Administration of document change controls and employee training records.
- Regular and documented reviews of outstanding actions and nonconformances (CAPA, Deviations).
- Administration of artwork change controls, ensuring that only the latest product labelling is available to manufacturers.
- Administration of field safety notices/product recalls.
- Scheduling and assisting with internal audits.
- Assist in the maintenance of supply chain controlled documents and supplier files including the distribution and receipt of Supplier Self-Assessment Questionnaires.
- To produce information and data for monthly management reports.
- Supporting the QA Inspector in conducting Goods-In inspections, as required, ensuring product deliveries meet the company's approved specifications.
- Maintenance of quality records within the Quality Management System, including ensuring the archiving and retrievability of records.
- Assisting the Regulatory Affairs function when required.
- To provide general support to the Quality Systems Manager, including completing any reasonable adhoc tasks requested by management
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in QA or relevant regulatory role.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Keen eye for detail
- Well organised
- Strong time management
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Highly personable and builds relationships with ease
