An exciting opportunity has arisen within Integrated Utility Services, and we require experienced Electrical Fitters to undertake installation, construction, maintenance, and repair of HV switchgear and automation equipment in Yorkshire.

IUS, part of the Northern Powergrid group, is an Independent Connections provider (ICP) providing a wide range of services on public & private electrical distribution systems.

We also deliver multi-utility services for housing developers for their electric, water and gas mains and services.

Our industrial resources provide a wide range of HV, LV cable jointing and electrical mechanical fitting to the highest of standard.

IUS recognise that the Industrial Resource team are at the forefront of the business and are provided with the vehicle, appropriate training, competence, tools, test instruments and PPE to deliver professional experience for our many customers.

Contracts are based on an attractive 37-hour week delivered Monday to Friday and regular opportunities for overtime for those that want it.

Preferred experience:

HV inspections and maintenance of DNO, (i)DNO and private distribution network substations and associated equipment; and/or:
Installation of HV switchgear, transformers for DNO, (i)DNO and private networks.

Required qualifications:

City & Guilds or equivalent is essential.
Relevant experience working in a similar role is essential.
DNO or IDNO authorised is desirable.
Clean driving license

Salary range - £27,341 - £35,660

Annual leave - 25 days plus 8 bank holidays
