Description

Job Title:
Pipefitter


Reports To:
Workshop Manager


Location:
Aberdeen

Accountability

  • Responsible for stripping and reassembly of heat exchangers and pipework for maintenance
  • To undertake the fabrication of pressure vessels of various diameters and thickness between 10 and 80mm
  • Carry out fabrication on pipework as per engineering drawings with tight tolerances
  • To undertake work utilising different materials including stainless steel, duplex, super duplex and carbon steel
  • Carry out general workshop day to days tasks as and when required
  • Adhere to all workshop HSE and quality procedures
  • To undertake work independently and as part of the team
Person Specification
Experience

  • Time served with a Level 3 qualification in welding and fabrication
  • Experience working in a medium to heavy fabrication background
  • Be able to interpret and read engineering drawings with a good understanding
  • Demonstrate an excellent attitude towards company HSE and Quality
  • Heat exchanger and pressure vessel experience
  • Forklift truck qualification preferred but not essential
