Primary Education Sports Coach (Part-time)


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team in delivering high-quality physical education and sports programs to primary school children.

This 16-hour part-time role is perfect for someone who is passionate about encouraging children's love for physical activity, building their self-confidence, and nurturing their social skills.


Role Overview
Plan and deliver engaging, structured, and fun curriculum-based Physical Education (PE) lessons for primary aged children.

Run after-school clubs, enriching children's experience and exposure to a variety of sports.

Operate holiday clubs, providing fun and active sessions during school breaks.


This role is active for 52 weeks a year, offering a unique opportunity to build strong relationships with students and significantly contribute to their physical development and well-being.


Key Responsibilities
Deliver innovative and interactive PE lessons adhering to the school's curriculum.

Organise and manage after-school sports clubs and holiday camps, ensuring a safe, inclusive and encouraging environment.

Coordinate with the school staff, parents, and community to enhance the school's sports program.

Regularly assess and report on the progress of the students.

Stay up-to-date with the latest education and sports trends, and adapt programs accordingly.


Experience and Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field is highly desirable.

A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role or considerable experience in the sports coaching industry.

Experience working in a school environment with children aged 5-11.

A sports coaching or physical education certification is advantageous.

Experience in planning and organising sports activities, with excellent time management skills.

Experience working as part of a team and excellent communication skills.

Part-time hours: 12-16 per week


Salary:
£200.00-£225.00 per hour
