Full-time HR Administrator

£22,800 to £26,000 per annum


Mayfield School is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable HR Administrator to join its team on a full time basis.

Working closely with the School's HR Manager and other senior staff this is an opportunity for someone who wants to advance their career in Human Resources, learning best practice and developing their understanding of HR processes and procedures.

This role will ideally suit someone who already has worked in an HR Department but is looking for a role which can provide the opportunity to develop their professional HR skills alongside their administrative ones.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent administration and communication skills. They will be proficient IT users and have experience of working with HR databases. They will be resilient, calm under pressure and understand the need for confidentiality and discretion.

Applicants will have previous HR administration experience ideally in a regulated environment although full training will be provided. Previous experience of working in a School would be an advantage but is not essential.


Mayfield School is a Catholic independent boarding and day School for 400 girls aged 11-18 years, set in 75 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside, less than 50 miles from London, 40 minutes from Gatwick and 15 minutes from the charming historic town of Tunbridge Wells.
