Salary Range:
£42,000 to £48,000 per annum

Hours: 8:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday 12 midday finish Friday. 37.5-hour week

Location:
Castle Donington, Derby

Permanent Contract working for a leadingmanufacturing organisation within the Aerospace, Automotive, Marine andMOD sector.

A CNC Supervisor Team Leader is required with knowledge of managing upto 15 CNC machinists setting HAAS, MAZAK & Doosan CNC machining centres with Fanuc controls.

Due to workload this Tier 1 Aerospace manufacturer based in Castle Donnington requires, dynamic leading CNC Supervisor Team Leader on a 37.5 hour day shift on a straight permanent contract.

As a CNC Supervisor Team Leader you will be required to:

Lead a team of 1015 CNC programmer/Setters. Ranging from offline programmers, online programmers and setters.
Manage cycle times and proving out new and existing jobs reporting back to plant production manager and customer
Set existing products on CNC machining centers including downloading programs, setting of tools and fixtures and making required adjustments to offsets.
Set new fixtures and prove out programs for new products
Set and prove out new tooling for new products
Change tools, tips and reset datum's to suit
Carry out inprocess inspection checks, including the use of air gauging, and document where appropriate
Operate CMM for inprocess measurement checks
Gauge checking
Look after the day to day maintenance of the CNC machining centers
Keep work area clean tidy and safe at all times
Any other additional duties as requested

The CNC Supervisor Team Leader should have the following skills or experience:

Experience in the above responsibilities
Experience of HAAS, MAZAK &/Doosan CNC machining centres
Experience of Fanuc and/or Mazatrol controls
Experience in leading or supervisors a team of machinists
Able to work using own initiative
Good interpersonal skills
Methodical approach to work
Role adaptability
