Given recent successful work winning and a solid growth strategy we are looking to recruit a Recruitment Administrator to join our team and build upon our success.
On top of the onboarding process, we need to ensure that payroll runs effectively so the workers are paid correctly and on time.
You will collate timesheets, chase managers for signatures and manage the payment schedules weekly, liaising with payment providers to ensure a smooth process.
Key accountabilities will include- Manage and coordinate the payment schedule
- Collate timesheets for approval and payment weekly for 100+ contractors
- Work closely with the accounts team in getting the work force paid in a timely manner
- Issue PPE where required and maintain records of issue.
- Act as deputy Sentinel Coordinator for the Group ensuring that Sentinel database is maintained. (This will involve from time to time, handling of subsponsorship requests).
- General administration and update of the resourcing database (Talisman).
- Any other duties as required by Management.
- You will liaise with our Compliance officer to understand and Comply with all compliance requirements.
Experience:
- Experience of administration in a blue collar recruitment industry (ideally rail industry experience)
- Experience of managing and coordinating a weekly payroll of contractors circa 100+ people.
- Knowledge of the sentinel scheme rules and the rail industry in general.
Technical Proficiency:
- An allround knowledge Microsoft office suite
- Good communication and influencing skills, attention to detail, good problemsolving skills.
- Excellent IT and administrative skills
- Knowledge of contractual requirements for agency/temp workers
- Knowledge and experience of hiring blue collar workers in relation to IR35 and other payment vehicles
