Overview:

As a Trainee/Junior Tekla Detailer, you will embark on an exciting journey to learn and develop skills in structural steel detailing using Tekla Structures software.

Key Responsibilities:

Innovative Learning Approach: Engage in comprehensive training programs that leverage innovative teaching methods to facilitate rapid skill development in Tekla Structures software.

Assisting Senior Detailers: Collaborate with experienced Tekla Detailers to support the creation of innovative and forward-thinking structural steel models and drawings that push the boundaries of conventional design practices.

Reading and Interpreting Design Drawings: Develop the ability to creatively interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to devise innovative solutions that optimize structural performance and construction efficiency.

Modelling and Detailing: Gain hands-on experience in creating 3D models of steel structures using innovative techniques and approaches, demonstrating a commitment to forward-thinking design and detailing practices.

Producing Fabrication Drawings: Assist in generating fabrication drawings and construction documentation that incorporate innovative detailing solutions aimed at enhancing fabrication efficiency, reducing material waste, and minimizing construction time.

Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control processes with a focus on implementing innovative methodologies to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and efficiency of detailing deliverables.

Collaboration and Communication: Actively contribute to collaborative discussions with engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders, offering innovative insights and forward-thinking perspectives to address design challenges and optimize project outcomes.

Continuous Learning and Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative practices related to Tekla Structures software and structural detailing, actively seeking opportunities to integrate forward-thinking approaches into detailing processes and workflows.


Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, coupled with a forwardthinking mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
  • Proficiency in computeraided design (CAD) software is a plus.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, innovative methodologies, and forwardthinking practices.
  • Prior experience or coursework in structural steel detailing is advantageous but not required.
