We will ensure the successful applicant will receive and retain a CSWIP Assessor and Instructor qualification fully funded by the academy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Welder/ Fabricator to pass on their skills to our Apprentices and help to 'Develop the Next Generation of World Class Engineers'.
Responsibilities
- To assist delivering the Level 3 Plate Welder standard to our Apprentices.
- Ensuring we have a smooth onboarding process for all new Apprentices
- Instruct and train Apprentices in several Welding & fabrication techniques
- Assess, mark and provide constructive feedback on Apprentices progress to facilitate skill development and improvement
- You will assist with monitoring and maintaining workshop standards with respect.
- Maintain training facilities and equipment in line with Health & Safety policies to ensure optimal functionality and safety for our apprentices
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Strong & Competent Welder/Fabricator
- Previous experience within Apprenticeships would be desirable
- You will be required to pass an Enhanced DBS check, of which the company will pay.
- Must be computer literate
- Ability to work effectively and use own initiative
- Ability to lead and manage and train others to achieve desired results
- Fully conversant with welding, fabrication and ability to read engineering drawings.
