Quality Inspector responsibilities include -

  • Work on final inspection activities, using handheld inspection tools.
  • Generate firstarticle inspection reports (FAIRs).
  • Manage any quality issues and liaise with the manufacturing team accordingly.
  • Assist with calibration of internal measuring equipment.
  • Support Customer and Third-Party Audits.
  • Liaise with other staff on site helping to drive continuous improvement.

Quality Inspector desirable skills and experience -

  • Experience working within a similar position (Quality Control)
  • Able to read and work from technical information.
  • Able to use standard inspection tools vernier's micrometers, etc.
  • Relevant mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or training.
