Position Overview


To lead the transformation and driving the performance of our combined Data Service Sales Operations team as we transition to a One Data Services functional model.

This global leadership position is responsible for overseeing and optimizing sales processes, reporting and driving an efficient Sales Operations team.

The individual in this role collaborates closely with sales leadership, finance, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and attainment of revenue objectives.

You demonstrate value by contributing to the growth of Data Services sales and revenue.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the strategic transformation of our Sales Operations teams from a brandaligned approach to a functionalexcellence structure, supporting the strategic 1DS objectives, leveraging scale, best practice and resources. This will include ensuring the right structural and talent changes across the Sales Operations teams.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive roadmap of change, outlining clear objectives, milestones, and timelines to guide the transition process and lead the Sales Operations team through aligned to business needs.
  • Oversee the standardisation and implementation of best practice to drive improvement of sales processes, policies and reporting to support Sales teams.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership and crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and revenue enhancement.
  • Champion the adoption and integration of innovative sales technologies and tools to streamline operations and enhance productivity and simplification.
  • Define and prioritise business need to drive valuable contributions and high value service for the sales function.
  • Define and establish consistent and best practice KPIs and metrics to and work closely with sales leadership to implement within the business.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the Sales Operations team, empowering individuals to drive improvement across Data Services.
  • Provide thought leadership on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales operations to ensure our organization remains at the forefront of innovation and value add.
  • Accountable for setting right compliance standards, governance, controls, mitigation of risk and the running of independent Commission Review Board to ensure that the schemes drive the right business outcomes and remain well controlled and within audit standards.
  • Lead the function to a bestinclass Sales Operations team, with efficient but excellent service delivered to the whole of Data Services.

Skills & Behaviours:

  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a diverse and inclusive team of sales operations professionals. Provide direction, guidance, and support to drive performance and achieve objectives.
  • Indepth understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices. Proven ability to streamline processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement in Sales Operations.
  • Ability to lead change initiatives and drive organisational transformation and restructuring to achieve business goals.
  • Build and lead a team within a complex organisational structure and support the team with navigating through resistance, overcome challenges, and drive adoption of new processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Strong strategic and operational experience working with sales data and systems including Salesforce.
  • Strong background of sales reward and commission schemes to drive the desired performance and behaviour.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator with exceptional influencing ability, both within the Sales Operations teams and across Data Services.
  • Effective at building relationships and consensus across other functions.
