Finance Analyst| Telford (Hybrid Working) | 12-month Fixed Term Contract| Upto £33,000

The Company

Seymour John are working with a well-established business that has seen significant growth during recent times, who are now looking to expand their financial planning & analysis team with the appointment of Finance Analysts who have strong excel skills,good attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for

Preparation/challenge of accounting data
Arranging submissions for deadlines
Presenting financial MI to nonfinancial stakeholders
Preparation and posting of accounting adjustments (accrual and prepayment journals) including challenging/assessing appropriate backup
Assist managers with ad hoc requests for information on their cost base
Consider impact of any organisational design changes and reflect impact on budget
Support the ongoing delivery of robust, effective and efficient operational, finance processes and controls
Develop a good understanding and working knowledge of the underlying source systems, accounting for the transactions recorded on the systems and in the ledgers
Work with HR in harmonising data endtoend
Identify, plan and implement process improvements.
Control gaps identified and solutions raised and implemented to provide assurance over financial processes
Liaise with auditors and answer audit queries.
Ensure compliance with relevant procedures and processes and maintain evidence/audit trail as required

Personal Profile
We are looking to speak with diligent, thorough Finance Analysts who are either part qualified or qualified by experience. You must have strong analytical skills, be experienced working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.
