The requirements for this position:

Looked after children experience
Social Work England registered
Extensive post qualifying experience as a Qualified Social Worker
Knowledge of the Children act, Children Leaving Care act and the Children in Social Care act.

NonStop's client based near Dartford is seeking a Social Worker to join the Children in Care and Permanence Teams.

Where you will provide support to young people to return home to their family and securing permanence for young people is central to the workthat they do.

As such you will work closely with our adoption and fostering teams.

As a qualified social worker you will be responsible for working with a range of partners to secure the best possible outcomes for children in our care.

We have an active Signs of Safety Implementation group and we will support and encourage you to workcreatively in order to secure positive outcomes for young people.

This service has 3 teams with responsibility for all children in our care, care proceedings and young people who we are helping prepare to leave our care or move into our dedicated Leaving Care Service.
