Salary:
£21,000-£28,000 per annum D.O.E


Hours:
Full-time, Monday-Friday 08:30am-5pm. No weekends


Go Train, one of the UK's largest training providers, is looking to appoint a
Skills Trainer as part of the government's Restart initiative.

As a
Skills Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting long-term unemployed individuals into suitable and sustainable employment by supporting them in pre-employment training.


Role Requirements:

  • Deliver high impact training solutions to meet a range of participant needs (including, skills assessments, 'How to' sessions, 'Making the most of', and other relevant activities)
  • Meet personal performance targets, and all Quality and Compliance measures by delivering high quality training provision to participants
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to offer high impact training solutions to meet a range of emerging participant needs (including Mock Interviews and other workpreparation activities)
  • Working with the Employer Engagement Team and other appropriate stakeholders, participate in delivering specific employer related events
  • Accountable for meeting targets, which will include delivering an agreed number of sessions per week/month
  • Strive to maintain high standards of delivery, including participation in selfevaluation, training observations and peer observation

About you:
You are driven, motivated and want to make a difference to people's lives

  • Experience in the welfaretowork sector is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience in a similar training role is desirable, but not essential
