About Our Client:

Page Group are supporting a Government organisation based in Birmingham with the appointment of a People Business Partner to join for a circa 6 months interim assignment.

This role can offer hybrid/flexible working - Circa 1 or 2 per month in the office - depending on business needs

Reporting to a Head of People, the role of People Business Partner will support a wide range of stakeholders and business units with People matters.

Duties will include but not limited to:

Contribute to the development of the People Strategy
Recognise and implement changes to HR policies and procedures
Identify and challenge risk
Build excellent stakeholder relationships
Ensure employee relations casework is dealt with effectively
Support ER appeals
Maintain an oversight of ET cases and liaise with the principal employment lawyer
Support with change management processes
Support with Recruitment

The Successful Applicant:

Ideal applicants for this role will have a proven background in a similar Business Partnering role.

You will hold (or studying towards) CIPD Level 7
