Calibre Search are delighted to be working closely with a Project Management Specialist Consultancy who are now looking to bring in an Associate level Project Manager to join them in Manchester City Centre.

The Practice themselves are employee owned and strive to offer the best PM services within the construction industry offering only Project Management services to their vast array of clientele both within the private and public sector world.

They have a various number of projects ongoing which include but not limited to office fit outs for high profile developers, hotel new build schemes to university campuses being part of large framework agreements to niche and unique venues which really standout.

Ideally you be qualified in MRICS or MCIOB and have the relevant construction background from a consultancy or client side/development role operating at a Senior level able to manage a team and delivery projects to a high standard.

Business development wouldbe advantageous however the Practice have enough on for you to solely focus on doing a good job on delivering.

Perfect position for any ambitious Senior Project Manager wanting to make the next step in their career to Associate level and really be integral to this Practices future plans in how this small but growing Manchester team develops.


Duties/Requirements:


  • Conduct feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation etc
  • Interview and select contractors for tendering or negotiation, evaluate tenders received and appoint contractor
  • Inspect and monitor the construction works with regard to quality and conformity to agreed specifications and drawings
  • Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project including progress, programme, costs, risks and quality management
  • Client liaising and chairing meetings throughout the project life cycle
  • Ideally having relevant qualifications being MRICS/MAPM/MCIOB or working towards such qualifications
  • Previous construction/property consultancy experience as a Project Manager would also be essential
  • Being presentable at all times and generating/containing business development
  • Wanting to develop the PM team further in the practices long term plans
