A National Sales Account Manager is needed to join a market leading supplier of garden products, based in Oxfordshire.

You can expect an exciting fast-paced role, meeting customers, building rapport, and generating sales for a portfolio of national accounts.


Due to the nature of the role it is expected that your time will be split visiting clients, attending the office and working from home. You would be expected to attend the office in Abingdon typically one two days a week.


This leading supplier operates in the UK and Europe, supplying a wide range of customers including garden centres, retailers and mail order companies.

They are renowned for giving customers a broad product choice, outstanding service, constant innovationand profitable growth.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a driven, hard-working, and ambitious National Sales Account Manager to join the team.


Reporting to the Trading Director, the National Sales Account Manager will be responsible for building close working relationships with key customers to grow existing and new product ranges and drive higher sales volumes.

On a day-to-day basis expect towork closely with Sales Managers to attend customer meetings (internally & externally), monetise opportunities, help identify new products or categories and analyse competitor activity.


In short, you will play a key role maximising return on investment with all accounts, in terms of both revenue and margin.


To qualify You could be a National Sales Account Manager / Sales Account Manager / National Sales Manager / Field Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager / Business Development Manager or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience developing and executing sales.
  • Experience growing key accounts with a consultative sales approach. Ideally with retailers such as Supermarkets / Large DIY chains or similar.
  • A high degree of commercial awareness.
  • You are target driven, dynamic, and selfmotivated.
  • You are approachable and personable.
  • You are a superb presenter and talented negotiator.
  • The ability to build rapport with potential customers instantly.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • The ability to think outside the box.
